iResearch System Will Streamline Chemistry Procurement for International Science Innovator

San Diego, CA - ChemNavigator today announced that DuPont Crop Protection has signed a two-year agreement to use ChemNavigator's proprietary, Web-based cheminformatics technology and chemistry procurement service to streamline the international science company's compound acquisition process in connection with its research and development activities.

Under the terms of the agreement, DuPont Crop Protection scientists will use ChemNavigator's iResearch™ System to design collections of compounds, called libraries, relevant to a particular area of research from the more than 2 million compounds available through ChemNavigator's global network of 35 chemistry suppliers. The iResearch System will also automatically alert DuPont scientists when compounds that may be applicable to a particular project become available. ChemNavigator's chemistry procurement service will maintain up-to-date information on compound inventories, check compound availability, place orders on behalf of DuPont Crop Protection, and track order status.
