About The Q2 2007 iResearch™ Library Release
The Q2 release of the iResearch Library was released on April 30th. We would like to thank our Supplier Partners for providing timely updates to their inventory. Here are the basic statistics from this release:

Private Supplier Databases
As a courtesy to iResearch Library subscribers, ChemNavigator will convert your private supplier database to the iResearch Library format. Having Unique Structure IDs assigned to your private supplier data will allow you to easily determine if your private supplier samples are truly unique in the market. Please contact ChemNavigator if you would like your private supplier data normalized to the iResearch Library format.

New CncConnect™ enhances your iResearch subscription
Now with your annual subscription to the iResearch Library you receive access to the CncConnect software. CncConnect provides a simple desktop interface to the iResearch System for batch structure searches and the generation of optimized sourcing reports for chemical procurement.
As the iResearch Library has grown to nearly 40 million chemical products, the effort our clients must make to manage this
vast data base has grown as well. In order to make the data easier to use, ChemNavigator has created a new on-line method of accessing the supplier catalog data called CncConnect. The CncConnect program provides a new flexible interface to the on-line iResearch System. CncConnect allows subscribers to extract the most current sourcing information for a set of samples directly from the on-line iResearch System.

New Near Match Search Tool
Currently available through the CncConnect interface there is a cheminformatics search technique called "near match search". This technique will help scientists find useful chemical samples overlooked by traditional search tools.
- How to use it:
- o Under Options on the front page, select the "Near Match (e.g. salts)" search options.
- How it works:
- o Near-match structural lookup. When supplied with structures, either in SDF or SLN format, the system can look for structures that are near matches in the iResearch Library. This includes structures that vary in isotopic substitution, stereochemistry, charge, and protonation state (salts).
